Candace Robertson has over 30 years of professional experience in all phases of a wide range of project types, with an emphasis on project management, materials research and specifications writing. She is a CSI Certified Construction Specifier (CCS). Past work has included a variety of technically demanding and highly visible projects for clients such as City of Portland, Portland State University, Oregon Health Sciences University, University of Oregon, and the State of Oregon.

Candace is a member of the Portland Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute, and a member and past Chair of the Oregon State Board of Architect Examiners. She has also served on the National Council of Architectural Registration Board’s committees on Professional Conduct, Electronic Technology, and Procedures and Documents.

Nancy Merryman has over 21 years of professional experience. Her design work has resulted in numerous award-winning projects including St. Anthony Church, Parish Hall & Childcare Center in Portland, and the J. Frank Schmidt Pavilion at the Oregon Garden in Silverton. Nancy’s experience includes planning, programming and design work for a broad range of urban and civic projects including church facilities, performing arts projects, higher education and multi-family housing.

Nancy served on the Portland Design Review Commission and is on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Portland. She has served on the board of the Columbia River Girl Scouts and the Architects Council of Oregon.

Linda Barnes has over 30 years of professional experience in all phases of various project types with a focus on sustainability issues and start-to-finish project management. Her experience includes work for clients in government and private industry providing: five year space utilization studies, site planning, feasibility studies, new buildings, renovation, space planning and code consulting. Professional interests include community-supportive design, daylighting strategies, environmentally sustainable architecture, and passive solar heating strategies.

Linda has been honored as a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects. She has received the Portland Chapter AIA’s Women in Architecture Committee Award for Woman of the Year, and a Chapter service award for Energy Committee Leadership. Additionaly, she serves on the Portland Fire Code Board of Appeals, the Portland Building Code Board of Appeals, and is a past member of the Multnomah County Board of Appeals.
